Bob Kitlar has conveyed a message of thanks from the directors of Lighthouse Mission for all of the support that has been coming from our congregation.  As a reminder, our food-bin donations are being directed to the work of Lighthouse Mission at this point.  Please remember to bring items in for their kitchen programs.  Lighthouse has also been collecting backpacks in order to help support inner-city youth as they head back to school.  There is always a need for more backpacks.  At the same time, Lighthouse also accepts clothing donations – so if you have new or gently used clothing that you’re not using anymore, please do not hesitate to bring that in.  Keep the cooling fall months in mind as well as you consider what items you can bring.  There is an area in the coatroom set up for the donations; look for the signs.
