A Congregation of Lutheran Church-Canada

We are a member of Lutheran Church-Canada, a confessional Lutheran church body with congregations all across Canada. We are affiliated with LC–C because we hold a common confession with other congregations and together we partner to do work that we could not otherwise do on our own. Our common bond is loyalty to the Scriptures as the inspired Word of God.

A Community Church

A Christ Centered Church

The Holy Christian Church is the Body of Christ.  As part of this Body we are given the Holy Spirit to understand God’s will for us and to bear fruit for Christ as we grow and mature in Christ. We receive forgiveness of our sins and eternal life completely and freely as God’s gift through faith in Jesus Christ.

Our Foundational Values

As a congregation, we stand on the solid foundation of the Word of God, teaching that faith in Jesus Christ alone gives salvation from sin, death, and the power of the devil. This saving faith is a gift from God to people, given as the Word of God shared through Law and Gospel, and the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are administered according to how Jesus Himself commanded and instituted them. These gifts of Word and Sacrament give faith to people and continuously build their life.
